Welcome to 2019!
It took a wee while for summer to truly kick in here in the South Island of New Zealand, but now we have record hot temperatures and beautiful summer days and are well and truly into our busy summer season.
Its been a busy beginning of summer, we can’t believe the first month of 2019 is already almost over! There’s been a few changes here at South Pacific Helicopters, we were able to have our new website go live just before the summer holidays kicked in and we hope you like it as much as we do!
Along with the great weather, we also had a huge increase in our migratory whale species, including sightings of blue whales, humpback whales, orca, pilot whales and up to almost a dozen fin whales spotted together in a group, made for some pretty incredible and epic whale watching flights!
